Northern Valley Communications of Aberdeen recently launched two new channels in December and will launch two more in January at no additional cost to its customers.

The Hallmark Movie Channel, channel 61 on NVC's Family View cable TV package, and Sportsman Channel, channel 130 on the Expanded View package, were added on December 4.

The Hallmark Movie Channel offers viewers a timeless collection of movies appropriate for audiences of all ages.

The Sportsman Channel provides 100 percent hunting and fishing programming, 24 hours a day and seven days a week without infomercial's, motor sports, bull riding or any other variety outdoor programming.

On January 3, NVC will add The Biography Channel, channel 131, and History International, channel 132, both on the Expanded View package.

People-lovers have a destination every day on The Biography Channel, where they can lose themselves and get inspired by the world's most watched, most wanted and most interesting people.

History International takes viewers to countries around the globe to experience history and culture through their eyes, to find out more about the world, help make sense of current events, and understand how the world got to where it is today.

"Adding new channels is important because we know our customers appreciate the variety we provide," stated NVC's CEO James Groft. "We are especially happy to give these channels to our customers at no additional charge to them."
